Adding an HSA account

Adding your HSA account is optional. If you only want to track expenses and receipts, turn on Settings → Simple Mode instead.

Adding an account

  1. Go to Settings → HSA Accounts, or tap Add HSA Account on Summary.
  2. Enter:
    • Institution: who holds it, like Fidelity or HealthEquity
    • Name: a name you’ll recognize, like “Primary HSA”
    • Account: the account number (optional). Only the last four digits are shown.
  3. Tap Save.

Setting the starting balance

New accounts start at $0. Set yours one of two ways:

  • Reconcile to enter today’s balance from your statement. This is the quickest option.
  • Add Contribution for past deposits, to build a full history.

Multiple HSA accounts

Add each one separately, such as an HSA from a previous employer and your current one. Summary combines them into your total HSA Balance, and each has its own page.
